Puppet Master Project

Excellent! You're curious about Puppet Masters? Welcome to my interactive short story project. My characters are in your hands. You decide what they decide by voting in my sidebar poll. I write the next installment based on the strings you pull. Each post has a choice for one character to make, which I relinquish to you. The decisions may be big or little, insignificant or monumental. Either might swing the story in a completely different direction, or not.

Many times I've decided something without much thought and felt the far-reaching consequences of it days or sometimes years later. Just as often, I've carefully weighed every option and made what I thought was a very logical choice, only to find the decision relatively unimportant in hindsight.

So, I'm writing stories that follow this kind of real life decision-making and invite you to experience it with me. I post installments once or twice weekly that are short enough to fit into your hectic schedule. Everyone has enough to read online, don't I know it. But I'd be tickled if you'd take 15 minutes to pull the strings.

Each storyline is labeled uniquely so you can search it in my tag cloud and return all related posts. Subscribe to my RSS feed or via email so you don't miss any installments and get your friends involved! The more puppet masters, the better. Thanks for reading and let the games begin!

Fondly, Vivienne
